READY TO RIDE?

You can ride 7 days a week by appointment. No clock watching unless you want that.
You get to ride your own horse (no double riding).  My customary maximum is 3 to 4 riders unless I get some notice.
You can love riding longer and exploring new areas or perhaps a shorter ride is just the ticket.
You can camp with horses all over Florida as well.  What are your dreams?  I want to hear and craft this ride just for you.

We ride at wooded trails, state parks, wildlife management areas on Florida’s west coast.

You may have not ridden for some time, or perhaps no longer even own horses.

Or maybe you had a bad experience and need to feel safe again.

Maybe you have horses at home and didn’t want to haul them on vacation.

Perhaps you have friends in town, own your own horses but don’t trust them with beginners.

Or your horse is an expensive arena horse that never leaves the pen.

Perhaps you are a “ring” rider and don’t get to experience trails so much.

You could be a Gran Prix jumper or a former steer wrestler.

You could be a first-time rider of a horse (Walmart horses don’t count )

or someone who wants to do a cattle drive that has only ridden a horse twice in your life.

This is  “Your” ride, “Your” friends. You customize your ride to you, your friends, and your family.  You can ride to the level of the least rider, of the friends in your group, or if a more advanced rider, you will have some latitude and yet still keep more

beginner / novice / fearful riders feeling more safe and secure.

“Nose to tail” rides are an option if you prefer or you can ride side by side and have a silly

or a serious conversation about what you

see, encounter, or where you have been or

will be.  You will love to live in the

moment, on a horse, under a

canopy of shady trees.  Love to

see the morning mists rise off the

fields.  I have a sometimes odd

sense of humor that translates well

when I am surrounded by friends;

which I hope we will be, during the

ride and for many years after.  Some of my bestest friends I have met astride a horse.

Winter schedule to ride out at 10 AM or 3 PM. Summers are great to schedule to ride out at 8 or 9 AM. I meet you at a local trailhead in a local park or wildlife management area. We do NOT meet at a facility to ride out. My horses love their life, live on many acres of pasture, and do not sit in the direct sun, saddled, waiting for you to call and ride the same day. They live on pasture and enjoy a peaceful life with lots of food, care, and love. PLEASE, as soon as you decide you want to ride, schedule in advance, as the day of plans, often do not work.

TIPS ~ TO INSURE PROPER SERVICE If you liked your ride, hug and treat your horse and tip your Wrangler or Trail Boss!  Many people do not realize that it is customary to tip your wrangler.  If you had a great time on your ride, show your appreciation by tipping your Wrangler.  The standard is 15-20% – similar to what you would tip a waiter or waitress.

“I take lots of pictures of your horseback ride and usually put some on Facebook, Pinterest, Here on my blog, Twitter, and other places. I can email them to you as well.”

If the idea of riding with hundreds of others, meeting a lot of people, seeing hundreds of horses, appeals to you consider doing a large organized ride.  We are an outfitter to the large organized rides such as #GreatFloridaCattleDrive22,

#GreatFloridaCattleDrive16, Great Florida Cattle Drive 06, Osceola County Wagon Train and Trail Ride, or The Cracker Trail. The Cracker Trail Ride Organization is celebrating a 35 year ride anniversary ride in 2022!

Horseback Trailrides are by appointment in select parks in Pasco, Hernando, Hillsborough, Martin, Citrus, Marion, and St Lucie Counties of Florida. Treasure Coast, Paradise Coast, Tampa Bay, Nature Coast as well. Cities of Tampa, Ruskin, Temple Terrace, Gibsonton, Greater Northdale, Brandon, Valrico, Plant City, We also cover a good bit of Florida and points beyond by request and are happy to quote you a price.
